Wow what a day!
We were honoured to be part of Crawley’s Thrive event today at the memorial park in Crawley.
It was a great opportunity to showcase our mobile gymnastic project to the public and the feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive.
The ability to teach gymnastics anywhere and everywhere was something the parents never knew existed. Furthermore they really liked the pay as you go flexible payment method.

It was clear by the amount of children that participated, that there is definitely a market for accessible gymnastics, and a wealth of untapped talent in Crawley.

Was great to be part of something truly connected to the community. We met some wonderful people, from the mayor of Crawley to Kathryn Ripley – Community Development who offered not only support but guidance on how we can reach our target. We are truly grateful.

Whoop Whoop, What a difference a year makes!
This Saturday 30th November see’s us embark on our first ever ‘Thrive’ event at Crawley memorial park in our town centre.
We will be showcasing our Mobile Gymnastics alongside our fund raising ideas. Including our raffle where you can win an authentically signed Lewis Hamilton photo (courtesy of our F1 Petronas connection), and just in Jemma Joanne Hairdressing has kindly donated a free cut and blow dry to add to the many fantastic prizes available.

When asked how we’re feeling about our project going live…
The only comparison we can make, is it’s like strapping yourself in to the scariest roller coaster ride in the world, whilst blindfolded.
The inital feeling of excitement as the seat clicks on it’s ascent, is quickly replaced by fear when the pinnacle has been reached and you know there is no turning back! Even if you wanted to.
Whether it’s the rush of wind or stomach nausea that triggers your scream reflex, hurtling downwards at warp speed into unknown territory immediately turns euphoric whoop’s in to what if’s?
Fortunately we have your support, helping us through this ride. As alone the journey would be increasingly daunting.
To understand why we were screaming at a point where we should be whooping, we sought council from one of our influential freinds who said… ‘Full public exposure is scary, and ironically is precisely what this project is about’.
Nodding in agreement whilst disguising my need for elaboration bought me time to ask ‘In what sense?
‘Once mobile, NW will be able to reach more areas exposing more children to a previously unknown commodity of a mobile gymnasium. Providing a mechanism to help more children become active, can only be positive. Furthermore the courage it takes to try something new, is precisely the courage needed to achieve this. Therefore enjoy the ride’.
Articulately put, and immediately made me want to re wrtie previous posts as he captured the esscence of the project in one paragraph.
In summary, we are still screaming on the way down, however with your fantastic support, the courage to let go of the rails is building.

Wow wow wow…to say were emotional is putting it mildly.
In this frenetic world of electronic communications, whilst enjoying the fact we received verification, we missed the email confirming that our project is now ‘Live’.
We have just found out because Space Hive notified us of the pledge.
So a huge thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kind pledge.

Never a truer word spoken than the above. As the pace slows down and the results of this weeks successful camps are posted. We would like to take the time to thank Charlotte for making this all possible.
With our 2 lively children and your sister to look after for 48Hrs, its arguable whom had the tougher schedule.
Furthermore judging by the nightly conversations, in conjunction with these photos it’s obvious the kids had a fantastic time. Which for any parent to see is priceless.
Your more than a coach. Your an integral part of our family.
Our only ask is can you please slow down as ‘Charlotte took us here’….’Charlotte did this’…Charlotte did that’ meant Wednesday was exhausting trying to keep up with their new found demands for fear of parental emasculation!
Muchas Gracias Charlotte for making it easy to relax whilst away knowing our children are in very safe hands.
